Visit the Blue Whale Cave with expert guides
Visit the Blue Whale Cave with expert guides, who will accompany you to discover the splendid interior environments of the cave. The Cave is part of a karst system that extends over 70 km inland. Its name derives from the nickname the shepherds gave the monk seal, "Su Oe 'e Mare," which used the cave to nurse its pups. The cave is divided into two branches, northern and southern, where the meeting of fresh and seawater is clearly visible. The resurfacing creates spectacular reflections, even near the entrances. You will visit the southern branch of the cave, along a path of about 800 meters, artificially lit and crossed by a wide wooden walkway. The guided tour will be conducted in Italian and English. At the end of the visit, you will be picked up from the boat again and taken to Cala Gonone.
