Shore excursion from Verona to Venice

3.00(1)Rome· Ancient city · food · artEnglish, Italian2 options

Your English-speaking driver will pick you up at your hotel in Verona and in about 1.5 hours you will arrive Venice Piazzale Roma where you will have the opportunity to visit Venice. First stop to San Marco is the tourist heart of Venice with famous monuments such as the Basilica of San Marco, the Doges Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. The area is always crowded and the restaurants on Piazza San Marco and in the surroundings offer multilingual menus for international tourists. Informal snack bars, luxury fashion boutiques and gift shops and glass art objects overlook the surrounding streets. To breathe the fascinating Venetian spirit, we recommend a lunch at Harry's Bar the Legendary 1930s bar famous for Bellini cocktails, carpaccio and VIP customers. At the end of the tour your driver will drop you off at your final destination in Verona.

Where this sits in Rome

Rome is about 33 min by road from Rome Fiumicino Airport. Three thousand years stacked on top of each other, still busy being a capital. Stay central and walk — the Forum, the Pantheon and a dozen churches worth the detour are closer together than the map suggests, and the city rewards wandering more than ticking off.
