Private Tour to Rome's Artisans and Flea Markets
Hi Guys ! We will visit secret FLEA markets, Auctions and restoration LABS!! We will start our tour on a famous St. Peter's Square and proceed to Borgo Pio, where historically the artisans commissioned by the Vatican used to work, and they do so till our days. We'll go to the ceramics and painting restoration lab. The visit will then be over. Following that, we'll receive a cordial welcome from Lia's colleagues in furniture restoration at the Ambrogi Antiquities Lab. The Auction House on Porta Cavaleggeri. The oldest master, who is 85 years old, represents the fourth generation in the art and has been working here since he was 8 years old. Later on, we'll pop into a few flea markets of your choice and preference. Your guide, who is herself an antique furniture restorer, will lead you through the secrets of assessing the age of antiques and a few tricks on how to restore some of them.

Where this sits in Rome
Rome is about 33 min by road from Rome Fiumicino Airport. Three thousand years stacked on top of each other, still busy being a capital. Stay central and walk — the Forum, the Pantheon and a dozen churches worth the detour are closer together than the map suggests, and the city rewards wandering more than ticking off.
