Where this sits in Lake Como

At €125 a night, Piazzi House is at the affordable end for Lake Como, where stays run €86 to €275 a night. Lake Como is about 1 hr 18 min by road from Milan Malpensa Airport. Mountains dropping into water, with villages and villa gardens along the shore and ferries doing the work of roads. Bellagio is the postcard; Varenna and Menaggio are easier to stay in.
