Historic Murano Glass Factory. Experience one of Murano’s oldest glass factories, where authentic glass is still crafted and a master glassmaker demonstrates his art. An elegant wooden water taxi will pick you up directly at your hotel, residence, or chosen meeting point. At the factory, an in-house guide will explain each stage of the production process while you watch the master at work creating unique glass pieces. Afterwards, you may explore the showroom to admire the master’s full collection of original works. The water taxi will return you to Venice for a relaxing journey back. Where this sits in Venice

Venice is about 11 min by road from Venice Marco Polo Airport. Extraordinary and genuinely crowded, and the two are easy to reconcile: stay the night. The day trippers leave around six, and the city that is left — quiet canals, lit windows, footsteps — is the one worth coming for.
