What guests mention

Summarised from this property's guest reviews by our supplier — not written by a guest.

Excellent location near train station and bus to San MarinoFriendly, helpful reception and staffConsistently praised cleanlinessConvenient for seafront and city centerSome rooms include fridge and air conditioningFree hotel parking with gate (mentioned positively)Property described as dated and in need of refreshBreakfast quality inconsistent; some guests call for overhaulWiFi reported as intermittentAir conditioning performance variable in some roomsFew parking spaces in town (limited availability)Noise from trains can disturb some rooms
Cleanliness4.6
Repeated praise for excellent cleanliness and tidy rooms ("pulizia eccellente", "Room was clean", "Pulita"). Housekeeping described as precise and reliable.
Service4.5
Staff repeatedly described as very friendly and helpful at reception and breakfast; several guests mention attentive service and quick assistance. Minor isolated comment about a breakfast server does not outweigh generally strong service sentiment.
Location4.7
Consistently highlighted as a major positive: central, next to the train station, close to the seafront and bus stop to San Marino—convenient for transport and local attractions.
Room Quality3.8
Rooms described as comfortable, cool and with useful extras (fridge, air con), but some guests note dated rooms, variable air-con performance, bright bathroom glazing and inconsistencies (e.g. some rooms lack deposit safes).
Amenities3.5
Basic amenities present (fridge in room, lift access, parking gate) but weaknesses noted: WiFi intermittent, inconsistent in-room safes, and limited modernisation—overall modest amenities for the property.
Value for Money4.3
Several guests call the price a bargain (especially in high season) and recommend the hotel; good location and service contribute to perceived strong value despite some dated areas.
Food and Beverage3.6
Mixed to negative comments on breakfast: descriptions like 'needs a massive overhaul', lack of hot options, needing to ask for fresh milk; some guests enjoyed breakfast abundance, but overall F&B seen as an area for improvement.
Overall Experience3.9
Overall impressions are positive due to location, cleanliness and helpful staff, but the dated facilities, breakfast shortcomings, occasional noise from trains and inconsistent amenities temper the overall score.
