4.60(10)Siena· Medieval · hill townEnglish, Italian

Discover the beauties of Tuscany on horseback! Riding in this wild part of Maremma Toscana, you will cross native woods and small rivers, pass Medieval villages, canter along blooming meadows and have great views. Our horses are very reliable and sure-footed and you will have lots of fun. Horseback riders with only advanced experience (walk, trot, canter, 2point/light seat) can participate in these full-day trail riding trips. The ride is about four to five hours in the saddle with a picnic lunch break at lunch time. The main path is walk, but there are several possibilities for trot and canter.

Where this sits in Siena

Siena is about 1 hr 16 min by road from Florence Peretola Airport. A medieval city that stopped growing and never lost its shape — the shell-shaped Campo, the striped duomo, streets that climb. Quieter than Florence and, for a few days, better company.
