The latter is the largest labyrinth in the world, dreamed and constructed by Franco Maria Ricci, a publisher and philanthropist whose astonishing art collection is kept in a gallery, at ht heart of the labyrinth itself. Where this sits in Bologna

Bologna is about 8 min by road from Bologna Marconi Airport. The food capital, and it does not have to try. Porticoes for miles, a real university city rather than a museum piece, and Modena and Parma close enough for a day out.
