Discovering Amalfi coast via Amalfi - Pogerola by walking
I am organizing a trekking tour in the Amalfi coast, from Amalfi until Pogerola, cause I am a certified Hiking guide and tour leader. It's a nice walk in the mountains reaching 360 meters on top of the sea. From the top the view is amazing. We walk up 1500 stairs to reach Pogerola, the walk is prety easy in terms of terrain and you need to be moderate fit . And wear Trekking shoes or gym shoes with good grip. Amalfi Coast is about 52 min by road from Naples International Airport. Vertical villages on a cliff road, and the road is the point and the problem. Beautiful, slow, and best with a base you do not need to leave daily — Positano for looks, Ravello for quiet, Amalfi for getting around.
