After a nice lunch in a typical trattoria in Pompeii your private driver we'll take you to Mount Vesuvius where there will be a special off-road vehicle that will passes through the National Park. You'll need to walk once there on top of the crater. The driver will take you to the ancient Road “Matrone”, leading you through the National Park of the Mt. Vesuvius till 1050 mt. above the sea level. From there you will have access to the crater, and enjoy a spectacular view over the bay of Naples, the Sorrentine Peninsula. Where this sits in Rome

Rome is about 33 min by road from Rome Fiumicino Airport. Three thousand years stacked on top of each other, still busy being a capital. Stay central and walk — the Forum, the Pantheon and a dozen churches worth the detour are closer together than the map suggests, and the city rewards wandering more than ticking off.
