Corso di Pizza

Florence· Renaissance · galleries · walkableEnglish, Italian

Set in the rolling hills of Volterra, among the breathtaking views of untouched nature, our cooking classes teach you to prepare traditional Tuscan dishes. The pizza course takes you through the preparation of traditional pizza dough that you can take home and enjoy following our instructions. Then, the pizza will be cooked and served, already risen, garnished with our ingredients. The lunch or dinner will be served with excellent Diacceroni Family wine. During the course, which takes place in Italian and English, you can participate in the preparation of dishes and interact with our chefs, who will tell you anecdotes and curiosities related to the Pizza. Upon arrival you will be welcomed at your station, where you will find your apron and all the ingredients for the preparation of the dish. To ensure your safety and satisfaction, please inform us of any food allergies or intolerances when making your reservation.

Where this sits in Florence

Florence is about 8 min by road from Florence Peretola Airport. Compact enough to cross on foot in half an hour, and holding more Renaissance art than most countries. Busy in the middle and calm five minutes out; the Oltrarno side of the river is where people actually live and eat.
