Where this sits in Siena

At €79 a night, B&B Sallustio Rooms is at the affordable end for Siena, where stays run €74 to €255 a night. Siena is about 1 hr 16 min by road from Florence Peretola Airport. A medieval city that stopped growing and never lost its shape — the shell-shaped Campo, the striped duomo, streets that climb. Quieter than Florence and, for a few days, better company.
